But now, in today's digital world, traditional media doesn’t seem to carry the same weight – and there are new, more effective ways to connect with your audience and showcase your brand.

Earned Media – pitching your story for coverage on TV, print or radio. IMO: this is difficult to get, and your audience may not be tuned into traditional outlets.  

 

Paid Media – purchasing ads or an advertorial to get in the media. IMO: this may cost you big bucks and come off as “bought coverage” to your audience.  

 

Digital media – using your website, social media, blogs and email list to create organic media coverage. IMO: digital media is a more accessible and budget-friendly way to elevate your brand and connect you with your audience.
